USA Today Football Coaches Poll - Top College Football Teams

The week 9 USA Today football coaches poll is complete. The top college football teams in the poll receive 25 points for a first place vote and 1 point for a twenty-fifth place vote.

The week 9 USA Today coaches poll has three ACC teams, five Big 12 teams, one Big East team, four Big Ten teams, two Pac-10 teams, four SEC teams, and six mid-major teams - BYU, Boise State, Utah, Ball State, TCU, and Tulsa. The first five teams on the outside of the college football coaches poll are Georgia Tech, Kansas, California, West Virginia, and Notre Dame. Texas and Penn State split the number 1 votes with Texas again raking in the most which means the Longhorns keep the overall number 1 position in the top college football teams poll for the third week in a row.
