New AP Poll - Latest NCAA Football AP Top 25

The new AP poll is now posted for week 11 of the NCAA football season. Teams in the NCAA football AP top 25 get twenty-five points for a 1st place vote and one point for a 25th place vote.

The new AP top 25 for week 11 has two ACC teams, five Big 12 teams, two Big East teams, three Big Ten teams, two Pac-10 teams, five SEC teams, and six mid-major teams - BYU, Utah, Boise State, Ball State, TCU, and Tulsa. The first five teams on the outside of the latest AP poll are California, Virginia Tech, Air Force, Georgia Tech, and Arizona. Alabama and Texas Tech split the number 1 votes with Alabama taking the majority and therefore earning the overall number one spot in the NCAA football AP top 25 for the second straight week. Penn State fell from number 3 to number 7 following their loss at Iowa on Saturday.

West Virginia, Georgia Tech, California, and Maryland moved out of the latest NCAA football AP top 25 while Cincinnati, Oregon State, South Carolina, and Tulsa moved in. The new AP poll for week 12 will be out by Monday, November 17.
